Lecturer, Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies
Fields: cultural and intellectual economies and social lives of trans-feminist and queer community-based performance, especially cabaret, and on the shifting practices of self-expression across digital media

Zethu Matebeni
Lecturer, Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies

Gary Okihiro
Visiting Professor of American Studies and Ethnicity, Race, and Migration
Fields: historical methodology and theories of social and historical formations, the history of racism and racial formation in the U.S., pre-colonial and colonialist economic history, and race and world history

Fields: advocacy for children and youth; serving underrepresented and marginalized populations, particularly communities of color
Joins Yale having served as the Resource Counsel with the Federal Capital Habeas Project and as Assistant Director of the Criminal Justice Project at the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fun

Marisol Orihuela
Visiting Clinical Professor of Law
Fields: worker and immigrant rights; judicial advocacy,   criminal justice clinic
Currently serves as Deputy Federal Public Defender in Los Angeles
